Internal Sales Executive -Division: Hardware Sales

 

We are currently looking for an internal sales executive to work within our growing sales team. The individual selected will receive appropriate product training and offered ad-hoc sales training as required.

 

The ControlCircle group offer an excellent benefit package including contributory pension scheme, private healthcare, subsidised gym membership and 30 days holiday per year.  The role would initially be office based, however, if the individual would have the opportunity to develop into a fully external role, if they prove to be successful.

2nd Line Network Operation Centre Engineer


We have a fantastic opportunity for 3 x 2nd Line NOC Engineers to join a high visibility 24/7 team. You will be responsible for monitoring & maintaining a high availability network infrastructure to ensure that any issues are responded to within strict SLAs in addition to carrying out maintenance activities to ensure that the infrastructure is running to optimum efficiency at all times.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 2nd Line NOC Engineer with excellent communication skills who can keep a cool head in stressful situations. Responsibilities

- Incident investigation and resolution on customer solutions. These may be generated by system monitoring/reporting or the customer.

 

- Documentation and implementation of changes to customer solutions, including new deployments.

Senior Security Engineer

As a key member of the Security Team you will be responsible for maintaining, improving and enforcing security. A genuine enthusiasm for security systems, techniques and methodologies is essential. Previous commercial experience in the security arena with either ISP’s, managed service providers and/or banking is a requirement.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Development of new security products and services
  2. Maintain existing services and designs; implement improvements where applicable
  3. Keep informed about current security threats and communicate possible vulnerabilities to the relevant departments and customers
  4. Provide Input to Security Policies and procedures.
  5. Provide Staff Education according to best practise and the security policy
  6. Raise Staff awareness with regards to all security matters
  7. Provide consultancy services to customers
  8. Liaise with customer service representatives and other customer facing departments with regards to threats, which may affect customer systems
  9. Diagnose problems and respond quickly to customer problems and service outages
  10. Deliver technical projects and documentation within defined timescales
  11. Work closely with the Network team to formulate complete solutions

Skills & Experience:

  1. A minimum of two years experience in Network Security gathered either in an ISP or Banking environment
  2. CCSE or comparable certifications in the Security arena required
  3. Knowledge of IP protocols, Routing, Switching, Network topologies and design, IPSEC and SSL based VPN’s
  4. Knowledge of Firewall technologies such as CISCO PIX, Checkpoint Firewall-1, Watchguard, Netscreen, iptables/ipchains, ipfw, pf including the different OS platforms these systems can run on
  5. Penetration testing and vulnerability scanning with commercial and Open Source tools
  6. Network Intrusion Detection Systems (commercial and Open Source based)
  7. Experience of different Operating Systems such as UNIX System V based Operating systems (Linux, BSD, HP-UX, AIX, Solaris), Windows based Operating Systems
  8. Strong knowledge of CISCO equipment (minimum is CCNA certification), Juniper, Nortel, Foundry and F5 experience is a plus
  9. VPN concentrator experience (Nortel, CISCO etc.)
  10. Two-factor Authentication systems
  11. Self motivated and excellent team skills are essential

Candidates should hold a current clean driving license and be based in London.

Salary range: £35k to £50k depending on experience plus bonuses and excellent benefits including pension, medical care, 6 weeks paid holiday and share options.

Junior Security Engineer

This is a junior role to join the existing team, however a broad knowledge is required as are excellent troubleshooting skills and a good deal of common sense.  Maintaining high availability networks the candidate will be working on the latest security products, from firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco Pix, etc), to IDS, IDP, Sys admin (Windows and 'nix), layer2/3 ACLs, packet sniffing and emerging technologies.

Ideally with 2+ years experience in an ISP/Service provider environment the candidate must been keen to further their knowledge of security services and have a solid understanding of all the principles involved in Internetworking/networking and associated security. Any existing networking/security qualifications are a significant bonus but not essential. However practical existing knowledge and experience of implementing and maintaining security products is required.

New Business Sales

We are seeking candidates to join our new business telesales team; candidates will have a track record in business to business Lead Generation and Appointment Making. Industry Knowledge is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

This role requires skills & experience to generate new business sales leads. Working in a new team you will be required to call companies at IT Director and Chief Technical Officer level to qualify requirements and arrange sales appointments.

Communication with prospects is via email as well as telephone, so applicants need a high standard of written English together with familiarity with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word. Occasional attendance at trade shows to represent the company may be required.
