ControlCircle is pleased to announce that it has won the award for “Innovation in the Outsourced Environment” at the prestigious 2009 Datacentre Leaders Awards. ControlCircle was recognised for an Enterprise-‘On-Demand’ Platform created for a client.
ControlCircle won this award because of the use of the latest modular based technology from best of breed vendors including Sun, Brocade, and NetApp. Largely, a utility-based platform was delivered to the client within aggressive timescales and within budget. Finally, the solution delivered an OPEX (day to day running cost) based utility (Cloud Computing) model reducing ongoing IT costs by up to 25%, meeting cash flow needs each month.
“Receiving this award is a great honour. We are extremely proud of this award as it recognises our expertise at delivering enterprise class solutions,” said Damian Milkins, ControlCircle CEO.
The Datacentre Leaders Awards are run by Datacentre Dynamics, one of the most influential publications catering to the datacentre sector to recognise innovation and reward excellence in facility design and operations in both the UK and Europe.
The winners were announced on 15 December 2009 at the Lancaster London Hotel.
