Latency measures how quickly data can be transmitted across a network. By using Intelligent BGP, we improve this latency by choosing the best provider at that time and also re-route away from providers that exhibit packet loss. The dynamic graph - found below and updated each hour - shows the improvements made on the ContorlCircle core network right now.
For each time segment displayed (hours or days), the bar chart shows what percentage of route changes resulted in the various latency improvement categories.
For example, a report might show that for all the route changes that occurred at 3AM, roughly 40% of the changes saved 0.25 milliseconds, roughly 5% saved 25 to 50 milliseconds, roughly 10% saved 50 to 100 milliseconds, and so on.
