ManagedVault
'ManagedVault' is a backup system, fully managed and controlled by ControlCircle and is offered to our clients. It allows you to handover the pain and responsibility of backup and restores to a company that has specialised and invested in this field for many years.
ControlCircle use Enterprise Class storage (NetApp/EMC) and best-of-breed backup software to provide a fully resilient service, backed by our 24/7 technical team which is actively monitoring, administering and reporting on each backup job to ensure your business is safe.
‘ManagedVault’ will backup your data from either local or remote locations and bring these to a central storage system within ControlCircle's secure datacentres. Once a baseline backup has been created, the incremental changes can be sent across any form of connectivity such as a IP VPN, MPLS or Leased Line.
Monitoring
Utilising our state-of-the-art monitoring service NetworkOverview, ControlCircle provide the client with a transparent view of their backup process.
Detailed information, such as backup size, time taken to backup, predictive fault diagnosis and backup state can be viewed directly through the portal. Using the reporting engine, clients can receive SMS, email and telephone call in the event of thresholds being met.
Data Security
ControlCircle's clients' data is stored within a secure facility and encrypted within our Enterprise Class storage array. Only certified ControlCircle technicians have access to the system and all our staff are fully vetted prior to employment.
Within our storage array we utilise RAID disks for increased reliability and a tape option is also available for backup to be stored onto LTO tape technology and stored off-site within fireproof safes.
