New Business Development Manager

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Managed Services sales to enterprises and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of these solutions. Additionally, the candidate must be skilled in managing large scale data centre proposals through initiation to successful conclusion. 

 

Main Duties

  1. Targeting appropriate market sectors/enterprises to generate leads using a number of available tools (calling, mailers, events, etc) and named key services targets to contribute >£500K per annum
  2. Accurately qualifying leads and convert into closed business to achieve quarterly and annual targets
  3. Collaborating with other BDMs and Account Managers as a colocation specialist
  4. Managing new accounts during their bedding in period and ensuring a smooth handover to a named account manager
  5. Working with the product management team to define propositions for key verticals and go to market strategies for ControlCircle’s data centre offering
  6. Develop account plans for selected accounts to define and pursue opportunities
  7. Ensuring that the CRM tool is update to date with current activity and reports
  8. Forecasting commit and upside to the Sales Director as part of the weekly Sales meeting
  9. Achieving quarterly and annual targets

 

Technical Support Engineer

Main Duties

  1. Technical support to resolve faults on a 1st/ 2nd line level
  2. Management of incidents, changes and service requests under strict ITIL framework using industry standard ITSM platform
  3. Ensure that customer SLA’s are maintained
  4. Ensure that internal KPI’s are achieved
  5. Regular contact with customers (99% of whom are technical) and keep them updated with progress of events
    Developing and maintaining customer facing documentation when required
  6. Management of changes through the change control process to successful completion, including execution as necessary
    Occasional involvement in project based work
  7. Occasional visits to various ControlCircle datacentres around the world
  8. Perform ad-hoc tasks as necessary
